It is good to have a coach in life but for many people, the problem is that of finding a good coach and affordability.
The fact is that intuition is very weak in the presence of strong emotions. On looking back at the age of 67 years, I see that I have never been able to take right decisions at the right time. Manytimes, the problems in life are too complex and come mixed up with uncertainty that you are simply left in confusion. You will not be able to resolve the issues through your rational mind. So, you end up making mistakes which when accumulated leads to failure.
However, some people are lucky enough to tode over these situations regardless of their background.
Finding the right coach is important while at the same time the person looking to benefit needs to be coachable. I have covered this in my latest blog please do check it. Regarding affordability it depends on one’s perspective. If engaging a coach is considered as investment on self with long term benefits then you get a different view.
Intuition does work at times when our rational mind fails to resolve the confusion we have in critical decision making. It is an impulse we feel in ourselves and a strong signal towarda the right decision. However intuition is cluttered by strong emotions like ego, fear etc. We need to trust our intuition and the more we trust it the stronger it becomes. I have gone with my instincts and most times it has been the right. Of course if I look back some of them could have been better, but I feel it is better to be forward looking and not live in the past.
Sometimes luck also matters and people who recognize the opportunities coming to them and make the best use of these become successful.
